Take a seat — up next in the April AtoZ Challenge 2018, here is Eid Muzafr – Sitting Pretty by American deviantartist (and Navy fighter pilot!) TwilightSaint.
I do love feather-winged dragons, and I came across this beautiful dragon looking for a ‘sitting’ dragon to go with a quote I didn’t wind up using. It turns out, finding a dragon in a sitting pose is pretty rare! Muzafr is the artist’s ‘scalesona’ (original character), and he captions this:
Eid Muzafr mubarak! Happy Muzafr Monday!
Been wanting to do a pic of Muzafr sitting pretty, and here she is! Note the slight turn of her back to you… to clearly show she’s disinterested in your puny human affairs! Now taketh that file and sharpen her tail spines, minion!
TwilightSaint is a prolific commission artist, with over 1500+ commissions completed as of 2013, and many more since then, I’m sure! While his commission requests are closed for the moment, you can see a bunch of his artwork styles in one place at his Commission Information page (be sure to click on the image to zoom in).
Check out many more dragons in his gallery, support his art on Patreon, and follow him on Twitter and Tumblr, among many other social media outlets!
I’m keeping it simple this year with my theme of “Odds and Ends Dragons” — amazing artwork by artists I’ve come across in past searches, but wasn’t able to find a spot for at the time. Read more at my Theme Post.
All of these AtoZ posts should appear around 9:05 AM CT (-5 GMT) each day Monday through Saturday. For even more dragons, check out my 2016 and 2017 posts!
Thanks for reading, take care, and stay creative!

Really? I would have thought that is a pretty typical pose for a dragon.
Loved this one too. And yeah, feather-winged dragons have a particualr charm. I think because the feather suggest lightness, where the dragon itself suggest power and weight.
