I’m all in on this April AtoZ Challenge 2018, so let’s check out this Queen of Hearts playing card by Croatian professional artist Valentina Barić, posting as Nimphradora.
This is just one of the images Valentina has created for a game studio that’s going to turn them into a playing card deck through a Kickstarter campaign.
I can’t wait to check it out once it comes onlineUPDATE, the Kickstarter is live, and I’ve just pledged for my very own deck! Who doesn’t need a set of dragon cards? Check out her King of Spades and Queen of Diamonds for more awesome images!
Valentina is an amazing and prolific artist, and I love all of her dragons! I’m also a fan of the other artwork found in her gallery, like The Start of an Adventure which shows a bunny adventurer riding a qilin creature, and Sao Lous that depicts an amazing city overview.
You can follow Valentina on Facebook, Tumblr, and Instagram, find more of her art at her ArtStation page, and support her on Patreon.
I’m keeping it simple this year with my theme of “Odds and Ends Dragons” — amazing artwork by artists I’ve come across in past searches, but wasn’t able to find a spot for at the time. Read more at my Theme Post.
All of these AtoZ posts should appear around 9:05 AM CT (-5 GMT) each day Monday through Saturday. For even more dragons, check out my 2016 and 2017 posts!
Thanks for reading, take care, and stay creative!

Love it. But then, I have a soft spot for drangons and for playing cards, so I suppose I was doomed on this one from the beginning 😉

Yeah, I’m going to keep checking to see when it opens for orders, I’d love to have this set too! 🙂

This would sure be a fun exercise, trying to come up with 52 different dragon designs! (No, 53, because you’d definitely need a joker, as well.) Thanks for sharing.
