Ink Dragon by Alnavasord, and exciting blog news!

I have awesome news about a behind-the-scenes tweak I’ve made to my site this week, but first, check out this really cool design called Ink Dragon by Colombian professional artist Alnavasord, who I originally found on the deviantart account Design-By-Humans. The official Design by Humans site revealed more of Alnavasord’s work, and you can purchase this first design here!

So, it’s the end of the year and time to renew my WordPress site — can you believe I’ve been doing this for two years now?

And to my great surprise, this year as I renewed, I was also given the option to purchase the domain name I originally tried to get when I started this crazy journey, since now the previous owner has finally given it up!  So…

Starting this week, you can also find my site at:

WritingDragons.com

I can’t believe how great it felt to finally claim that domain name!  I plan to keep it forever if I can, because someday I really hope to have a published book called Finding Dragons, and I like the symmetry…

But just to be clear, all of my old hyperlinks will still work, and you will ALWAYS be able to find me here at WritingDragonsBlog.com.  That domain name is my original home and will always be special to me too!

I just really like how “official” dropping the word ‘blog’ from my name sounds, don’t you?  I can’t wait to update my business cards! 🙂

Going forward, I’ll be referring to myself here and in other links (like my notifications) as WritingDragons.com, so don’t be confused, my loyal readers!

Anyway, that’s my big news!  But now, let’s take a look at some more of Alnavasord’s awesome artwork, available on Alnavasord’s Design by Humans site in the form of t-shirts, phone cases, and art prints, to name a few options.  I love the splashed-ink style they use in some of their designs, including this next one called Ink Battle:

And this one called Ink Whale:

But Alnavasord has a few more dragons as well, like this one called The Blue Wave:

And this one called Drakkar:

This artist also likes other mythical creatures besides dragons, so here is Fenix:

And then, Pegasus:

And finally, I love this next one called Flying Free.  It reminds me of the wild spaces I found as I was biking last summer, looking up through the trees, although I wasn’t usually out at night when I could see the moon!  The heart silhouette stands out more on the larger canvas of a dark t-shirt, so check it out at the link!

That’s it for this week, and while I’m down to the wire again, I got my weekly post out as intended!  I know I’ll be super busy these next few weeks, but I intend to publish at least my weekly dragon artwork posts, and hopefully a new Neeka post before the New Year, so stay tuned!

Thank you as always for reading, take care, and stay creative!

*The dragon and moon symbol isn’t by my featured artist Alnavasord, but it’s out in the public domain and I’ve been trying to track down the artist for years.  If you have any information on the original artist, please leave a comment below!
