Since I didn’t get it posted last night, today I’ve got another awesome image to celebrate the epic Season 6 finale of Game of Thrones.  This is Visenya on her dragon Vhagar by U.K. professional artist John McCambridge.

This isn’t an image of anyone alive in the current series, but a famous Targaryen from days of old on her massive battle dragon.  John explains that this is an illustration that he did for the massive George R.R. Martin and Elio Garcia companion book The World of Ice & Fire: The Untold History of Westeros and the Game of Thrones.  You can find more of John McCambridge’s great artwork at his deviantart gallery and on his Art Station page.

I’m going to keep this short and sweet today so I can turn my attention back to Neeka’s Story, because just like everyone else (I’m sure), I’m sick of it being stalled out.  Time to buckle down.
