It’s nearly the end of Wednesday, the day I’m supposed to post some Writing Craft and Wisdom, but my own writing has just been so stuck lately that I had no idea what to even say.
That’s a great quote from David Sedaris, a favorite of mine, but really, I feel like if I could keep writing I would. I took some time today to read some articles about getting unstuck, so if anyone else out there is feeling the same, you could check these out.
When You Should Be Writing But Can’t, by Joe Bunting on The Write Practice
Help! I can’t write! or How to Identify the Dread Writer’s Block and Its Relatives, by Elizabeth Moon on MoonScape
Just Write the Damned Book Already, by Joseph Finder on JosephFinder.com
Best of luck with staying creative, everyone. I’ve heard all the advice before, of course, but I’m going to try some new things and hopefully this dry spell ends soon.
