I know I’m late posting my AtoZ “X” post, but I haven’t been in the right headspace the last few weeks to get that series done, apologies my friends. In fact, today’s art, called Hour of Destruction by one of my all-time favorites, Singaporean professional artist Sandara, basically sums up my mood of late. This art was done for gamermats.com.
I’ve just had to leave a job I loved for the sake of my own mental health, and it’s been a difficult road so far and I have a long way to go to really recover. But I didn’t want to let another week go by without a post of some awesome dragon art, because I also love this blog, and don’t want it to waste away from neglect.
So this next one is called Flood by Sandara — another image of destruction, not at all a coincidence, but also just really cool.
And finally, here’s another of Sandara‘s images that really spoke to me today, as I contemplate how all my plans have all gone off-course. It’s called Houston We Have A Problem. Ain’t that the truth. This one was done for Pastimes.net.
Thank you as always for reading, and please be sure to check out more of Sandara’s amazing artwork in her gallery. Take care of yourselves and try to stay creative, even if things seem dark right now! I hope to be back next week with some kind of post, even if I don’t finish AtoZ anytime soon. All good thoughts sent my way are appreciated!
