Christmas Dragons by Various Artists

Happy Christmas everyone!  I hope you’re having a wonderful holiday.  Let’s celebrate with some dragons!  First up is Merry Christmas 2010 by Brazilian professional artist Ursula Dorada, posting as SulaMoon.  Check out her wonderful fantasy art in her gallery and her website, and follow her on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram for more.

Then we have this great piece called Who Needs a Christmas Tree by deviantartist Agaave.  She writes, “Who needs a Christmas tree when you can decorate a dragon?”  This was a Secret Santa picture for fellow deviantartist Scellanis.  There are dragons and horses and more fantasy creatures in her gallery.

Up next is Christmas Card by Armenian deviantartist Alice Bale, posting as Feognia.  Check out the detail in the ornaments!  This is one of Alice’s original dragons named Margarit, which means ‘pearl’ in Armenian.  You can see more in Alice’s gallery and follow her at FurAffinity and Tumblr.

And finally, because of course I can’t resist a Pokemon picture, here is the adorable Christmas in Unova by American professional artist arkeis-pokemon.  How cute is this?!  Okay, to explain, Unova is the Pokemon regional setting for Pokemon Black and White (1 & 2) and these are the legendary Gen V dragon Pokemon, Baby Reshiram, Zekrom, and Kyurem celebrat[ing] their first Christmas together.”  Aww!!  Be sure to check out all the amazing Pokemon in this artist’s main gallery and more art in his alternate gallery.

It’s Christmas morning here as well… we wound up not being able to drive home for the holidays after all, because some Grinch broke into our car the other night, busting out the window, and we couldn’t get an appointment to fix it until after Christmas.  Boo.  We had boxes full of stuff to donate in the car and not much else, although my husband’s D&D backpack was taken, with all his dice and character sheets — nothing of monetary value except a 5th edition D&D book.  Sigh.

But we’re still having a nice Christmas home together, so I’d best get back to it — I hope everyone’s having a lovely celebration, thank you as always for reading, take care, and stay creative!
