Here’s a great image of a dragon and rider called Dragon Steed by Clyde Caldwell, Fantasy Illustrator.  According to Clyde’s site, this was created in 1982, and was the cover image of Dragon Magazine #71.  I’ve seen it in many more places on the internet and not attributed to Caldwell, so please remember — if you use an image, cite it!
